The possibility to compare scenarios is what makes OrgCon a dynamic tool. OrgCon compares two selected scenarios with each other and the differences between the two are highlighted for easy recognition. The function is available for input reports and input graphs, and output reports and output graphs.

The Compare function is fruitful for comparing, for instance, the viewpoints of different individuals: Imagine three members of top management who each answer the input questions. The comparison of input reports may then be the starting point for a clarification of present understandings or future expectations held by the members of management (see also Goals and benefits).

A special case of the Compare function is Sensitivity Analyse.

How to perform a Compare:

• Choose Compare scenarios from tools menu, highlight the base scenario and then click Next

• Then choose the revision scenario and click Finish

• Review the differences between the base (first) and the revision (second) scenario
  • Input data or conclusions from the base scenario will be colored red
  • Input data or conclusions from the revision scenario will have  yellow indication
  • Input data or conclusion that are common for both scenarios will not be highlighted
